The web shop customer must be at least 18 years old.
Before you place your order: Please contact us for more information about delivery costs to your country. Let us know what products you’d like to order and we’ll weigh and measure the package properly in order to confirm the actual shipping costs.
How to order: Via the web shop, e-mail, or phone.
Assortment: The physical shop and the web shop both have the same assortment. Unfortunately we sometimes sell the last of a model in the shop, unaware of the fact that we have just received a web shop order for the very same product. Our goal is to update the web shop as frequently as possible to prevent these mistakes from happening.
Terms of payment for international customers: The order is shipped after received payment. Payment can be made via PayPal to email@example.com or international bank transfer. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you like to recieve a PayPal money request.
Terms of payment for Finnish and Swedish customers: Products and their postage are paid in conjunction with the order.
The following methods of payment are available for the users of the webstore: Nordea, OP Pohjola (Osuuspankki), Danske Bank, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Akia, Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Oma Säästöpankki and credit cards. Online payments are made by using the website of Paytrail Plc. Payments can be made also beforehand by bank credit transfer.
Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard: If you would like to pay by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Sloyd Oy will act solely as the marketer of the respective products and services and will provide the products to the buyer. All complaints and claims for compensation will be handled by Paytrail Plc.
With regard to payments made by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard, Paytrail Plc acts as the merchant of the product and the trade transaction takes place between the customer and Paytrail Plc. The seller is liable to meet all the responsibilities related to the trade. Paytrail Plc is also the recipient of the payment.
Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Delivery time: We send the order as soon as possible after received payment, preferably the following weekday. NOTE! Summer vacation last week in July and first week in August! Please note that international bank transfers may take a couple of days, therefore postponing the delivery date with a few days.
Safety: We will under no circumstances hand out any of the customer’s personal information to third parties.
Return of products: It is important to us that you are satisfied with the products you have purchased. If the product still does not live up to your expectations, you have a 14-day right of return according to the Consumer Protection Act. Please note that the product can only be returned if it is unused and salable. The product returned must be unopened and in undamaged original packaging. A product that is desired to be returned must be sent back no later than 14 days after you have registered a return.

The following information must appear in the return information:
- Customer’s name.
- The customer's address.
- Information about the returned product.
- Description of defective product or wrong product.
- Account number in IBAN format to complete the refund.
Pack the return carefully and in such a way that it is not damaged during delivery. Pack the product's original packaging in a box, for example in the box the product was delivered in. Post the return to Sloyd, Palosaarentie 19, 65200 Vaasa, Finland.
When we have received the returned package and the product is deemed to be in acceptable condition, the purchase amount is returned to your account. Returns are free, but we do not reimburse any shipping costs in connection with the return of the product.
Note! If you do not pick up your order, the return conditions do not apply. If you do not collect your package from the post office and it is returned to Sloyd, there will be a return handling fee.
Refunds: We will make a refund after we have received your notice of return, provided that we have received the returned products or that you can prove that you sent the products. The refund is made using the payment method used at the time of purchase. We do not refund shipping costs for returns.
The amount is refunded to the same card that was used for payment. If you have paid via online payment, please provide us with your account number so that we can refund the amount.
Change of product: If you want to exchange a product, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone +358 400 56 7616. Return your ordered product normally according to the instructions for returns.
Exchange of defective or faulty product: If the delivered product has a fault or you have received the wrong product, you can make a product fault report. At the same time, we ask you to inform us if you want to return the product, get a refund or if you want us to send a new product to replace the faulty one.
